Suns Pacers 3/2

Just went to the Suns Pacers game tonight at USAC. Couple of notes:

-Could we please pass a law that no girls under the age of 16 can attend a basketball game. No exceptions! Putting in this mandate is really a no lose situation. They don't want to be there, noone wants to take them, and fans shouldnt have to put up with their screeching, bickering, and whining when they're trying to enjoy NBA basketball.

-On a related note, the halftime show consisted of about 100 girls ages 4-10 cheerleading. Listen, god bless 'em, but does anyone in the world enjoy these parades of ineptitude? Cheerleaders are supposed to be eye candy for us, not 6 years old. I don't know, maybe the Asian lady who flips bowls onto her head cancelled, and the best thing they could find was the Central Phoenix PrePubescent Dance Line to replace her on short notice.

ONTO THE GAME:
-The Pacers are one of the least athletic NBA teams in recent memory. Danny Granger is probably a marginal athlete, but you wouldn't know because he just j-s from 25 feet the entire time. Their best athlete might be white, Mike Dunleavy (who, while athletic, still sucks). Not a good sign.
I realize athleticism doesn't make everything, but against a team like the Suns, it stands out.

-Jermaine O'Neal had a bad game, but he is good. The rest of those pieces are trash. Foster, Dunleavy, Granger (more on him in a second), Tinsley, Armstrong, and Murphy. These guys all have two qualities. A, they're bad. And B, they log big minutes. Again, not a great sign. Any time the possession doesn't go through him, its a wasted possession.

-For you Pacers fans, one bright spot....Marquis Daniels is good. He is adept at slithering into the lane and putting some random slop into the basket. I hope, for his sake, the defenders don't figure out that he can't hit a 20 footer.
